Discover the Entrepreneurial You

Discover the entrepreneurial you. Book your participation in Indie Learning System's Camp Enterprise and begin developing that entrepreneurial mindset.

Matt Ehrlichman, founder and CEO of Porch, a consumer and social Internet marketplace that connects homeowners with the right home service professionals and was USA Today's 2014 Entrepreneur of the Year, says in an article in Inc.Com, "There are some characteristics in work and life that you just can't teach. They form from within and over time, they become part of who we are. One of those characteristics is the entrepreneurial spirit."

What is an entrepreneur?

According to dictionary.com an entrepreneur is a person who organizes and manages any enterprise, especially a business, usually with considerable initiative and risk. He is an employer of productive labor, a contractor.

An enterprise is a project undertaken or to be undertaken, especially one that is important or difficult or that requires boldness or energy.

investopedia.com declares that entrepreneurs can change the way we live and work. If successful, their innovations may improve our standard of living. In short, in addition to creating wealth from their entrepreneurial ventures, they also create jobs and the conditions for a prosperous society.

They are therefore vital to the economy.

Today’s environment requires people with entrepreneurial mindset

Not only is the world increasingly dependent on enterprising people to create economic opportunities, it is also relying on them to solve complex problems.

Be a doer, a change maker

When you discover the entrepreneurial you, it feels like some sort of a burden and being in an exciting adventure at the same time. Why?

Entrepreneurs' enthusiasm borders on the delusional for a product, an idea. They have fierce drive, energy and tenacity, a talent for improvisation, an aptitude in spotting and seizing opportunities and knack for viewing setbacks for opportunities (Brent Bowers, 8 Patterns of Highly Effective Entrepreneurs).

There are so many factors that contribute to attaining success in life.  But observers and experts agree that you need to have some or all of the characteristics and qualities that successful entrepreneurs are known to possess to wade through the complexities of life today and yes, to succeed in whatever endeavor you are pursuing.

Ready to see and feel what it is like to be in the league of doers and change makers? To many, the self discovery has become profitable. It won't be far fetched to  believe that it will be the same for you as well. Sign up now!
